Brother Joshua Glenn McFall was recently informed that he won Honorable Mention for the Thomas Arkle Clark Award. The Thomas Arkle Clark (TAC) Award annually recognizes Alpha Tau Omega's most outstanding senior candidates for undergraduate degrees. It was established as an incentive for young brothers to seek excellence in scholarship, leadership, service, and the personal qualities of character, integrity, and responsibility. Josh received numerous awards as an undergraduate from the University of North Alabama such as University Man of the Year, Fraternity Man of the Year, Greek Hall of Fame, UNA Promising Alumni Award, LaGrange Society Commander, Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Honor Society President (two terms), and was on the 2005 Homecoming Court. Throughout his time in Theta Eta Josh served as Fundraising Chairman, Membership Education Chairman, Chaplain, and President. Josh now attends Auburn University where he received a Graduate Teaching Assistantship in the Department of Communication Studies.

Theta Eta Wins True Merit
On Friday, July 13th, the Alpha Tau Omega National Headquarters announced the chapters who had been awarded the status of True Merit. The UNA chapter was then informed that they had won True Merit. This makes the seventh consecutive year Theta Eta has won this prestigious award, making a grand total of nine times. They have won the award eight times since returning to campus in 1999 and once in 1977. The True Merit Award was first established in 1969 as the Chapter Efficiency Award, becoming the Fraternity's first official award. In 1975, the name of the award changed to the Chapter Excellence Award and finally in 1979, the name changed to the True Merit Award.

Theta Eta Wins Greek Excellence Award
The Theta Eta Chapter was awarded the Daniel R. Leasure Greek Excellence Award at the Order Of Omega Greek Awards Banquet for the 2006-2007 academic year. Several brothers were also recognized including Kyle Mangum who won the President of the Year Award and Josh McFall who won the Inter-Fraternity Council Man of the Year Award. Kyle and Josh were also inducted into the Greek Hall of Fame. They were two of the three male inductees. ATO was also recognized as the winner of the first annual IFC Greek Olympics and winner of the University Intramurals for the fourth year in a row.
ATOs Recognized on Campus
Recently, several brothers of the Theta Eta Chapter were awarded for their service to the campus at the University of North Alabama Honors Day. Brothers Timmy Ray and Matt Malone were named Who's Who on National College Campuses. Will Hodges won the LaGrange Society Rookie of the Year Award and Josh McFall was named Host of the Year for the second consecutive time. Clayton Grider and Tyler Mills were selected as Co-Captains of the LaGrange Society making a total of eight ATOs that made the most prestigious non-academic society on UNA's campus. Also, Kyle Mangum won the Undergraduate Service to Campus Award and Josh McFall was recognized as University Man of the Year.
